| Background | After graduation in Mechanical Engineering, I spent 10 years in NPP Krško, Slovenia, in different positions within Maintenance and Engineering Departments, working as Maintenance Engineer, System Engineer and Project Manager. Was involved in many plant outages and major plant modifications, as well as in a Plant Maintenance Optimization Project, which was going on for several years utilizing streamlined RCM principles. Later on, I was for 16 years in charge of strategic and business development in a company providing maintenance and installation services to nuclear and pharmaceutical plants in the EU and US. My Master thesis was also related to that area, titled “Maintenance Outsourcing in Nuclear and Pharmaceutical Plants in Slovenia”. In 2019 I started my own Asset Management consultancy, and am currently working with several companies on improvement of maintenance processes. |
